Day 21 – What a day

Today was a tiring day not only for me but for everyone I guess. We had a class test in the morning at around 10am, the paper lasted for 1 ½ hours or so. It was a tedious paper we had a lot of diagram to draw and we also have quite a few calculations. Well to me the paper was manageable beside the fact that I misread one of the questions.
Thats our paper

After the paper we headed for lunch, this time we decide to try something new at the street opposite the soup restaurant. HoungSheng brought a whole chicken from one of the stalls when we were hunting for food, the chicken cost about 23rmb($4.60), and it tasted really nice. It wasn’t a hot dish but instead it was a cold dish and amazingly it smells really delicious and it wasn’t very salty either. After so we headed to this restaurant which sells Zha Jiang Mian, that particular stall was kind of different from the other stalls as they only had a few variety of food to choose from, unlike the other restaurant in Wuhan where they have a whole list of item for us to select. In fact this restaurant that we went to seem to be known for by the Zha Jiang Mian that they sold , as when we entered the shop, there were many certificates pasted on the wall stating the award that they won in some cooking competition or so.

It was around 1 plus 2 when we headed back to the hostel to have some rest before starting on our projects again. We had quite a number of tasks to complete before this week and for today most of our time were spend in our hostel room trying to get our work done. It was around 7.30pm when we all decided to take a break and have our dinner before we get back to the hostel and get going with our project.

Reflection:
I finally agree now when they say time management is really important. In Wuhan, there are so many places that we want to go and there are so many things we want to do but we could not find the time to. Not because we do not have the time but because we do not have a good time management.

On the other hand, I guess I am kind of getting used to everything here in China. In the past if I were asked to have my meals in an area where their food where cook outdoors, most probably I would skip that meal. But now, it doesn’t really bother me that much anymore. In fact I am starting to love this place more as the days goes by.

Im attracted to this place
