So, we had a long day today, we were all informed to gather at 9am in the morning at the lobby before taking a bus down to Jiang Nan Lu. It was around 9.30am when we reached the bus stop, and since it was a Saturday morning, the bus was really crowded and so we had a hard time squeezing in the bus. The bus journey was around 30 minutes, and when we have reached the shopping mall, we all decided to settle our breakfast first before we go ahead with our shopping.
We had our breakfast at this Shui Jiao Dian, they actually sell beef noodles, beef soup, dumplings and many more. But since I have an allergy towards seafood, I would have to skip the Shui Jiao and try the other food, so I ordered a bowl of beef noodle and a cup of orange juice which cost 14rmb( $2.80). They way we ordered our food was really different, we were suppose to order our food, pay for it, get the receipt and head to a table before someone would be able to go to you to collect your orders. Also I have realized that they usually doesn’t provide any ice in your drinks unless you asked for it, it might be because it is autumn and the weather was cooling and so for now, the drinks that we bought would always be warm and not chilled.

And now it was finally time for shopping! I spend about 250rmb($50) today one 2 sneakers and a jacket which I found it really cute! I bought those sneakers at another shopping sentre which was somehow rather similar to our Queensway shopping centre in Singapore. they sold really cheap stuff and they were really nice.
MONKEY jacket ~~ for only 100rmb($25)
Pink Sneakers for only 80rmb($16)
Grey Sneakers for only 70rmb($14)
And to reward ourselves after a whole day of shopping, we decided to settle our dinner at Pizza Hut. We had pasta, baked potatoes, cakes, chicken, salad and many more. But guess what we only paid 333rmb($60 plus) for a full table of food!

Reflections:
I didn’t know that Singaporeans left such a good impression onto the people in China.
While we were in the bus on the way to Jiang Nan Lu, we met with this really old couple. The bus was really crowded, and so there were no seats left for them. And so, since one of our students was sitting on a seat she decided to give up her seat and gave it to the elderly couple. Upon seeing that, a stranger turned and talks to us, he was asking where we were from after chatting for about 5 to 10 minutes, we finally realize that he was the photographer from WUST.
When he realize that we are Singaporean, he started promoting us, Singaporean to the old couple, telling them how civilize we are, the law in Singapore, the type of students we are. He actually tells the old couple all the positive side of a Singaporean. I was pretty amazed by how he managed to find so many good points in us Singaporean. Because there are some points which I myself didn’t realize even though I am a Singaporean.
Frankly speaking, after hearing what he said about a Singaporean, I felt proud to be a Singaporean. And I believe, if you were there with me to listen to the way he describe us, you will feel the same way as me too (:
We have confidence in our future.
United, determined and well-prepared, we have what it takes to build a bright future for ourselves, and to progress together as one nation.
