Day 5 – Official shopping day!! ^^

Enjoyed today the most even though we did ALOT of walking which made us really tired. Our day began with us getting off bed at around 9.30am to prepare ourselves for the shopping trip at Bu Xing Jie. We were taking many pictures while waiting for the guys, I guess this was the first time that we girls are so punctual , haha see how excited we are (:

It was a 45 mins ride from WUST to Bu Xing Jie. The bus journey was pretty bad as the air condition in the bus wasn’t working and so most of us, infact all of us were already perspiring while we were in the bus.

It was around lunch time when we reach Bu Xing Jie and so we all decided to split up to have our own free time. The girls went to have our lunch buffet at a Korean BBQ restaurant, is was really cheap as it only cost 48rmb($9.60) per person. We had a lot of fun joking and cooking out food, it was simply awesome.

It is finally time for our SHOPPING trip, we went around the whole shopping mall, stall by stall and the girls got themselves a lot of clothes, soap, bags, shoes and most important they got themselves a full bag of facial product from Etude House which cost a total of only $60 plus. It was a awesome offer as they even receive a free mascara from them! As for me I only manage to buy a pair of shoes after shopping for around 1 hour, while the rest have already bought so much stuff for themselves . Well at least my shoes only cost 130rmb($26) thanks to Shi Ling bargain skills (:

After shopping for around 2-3 hours it was time to meet up with the rest for dinner. We had to take a ferry down to Gang Bu Jie for our dinner. While we were on our way to the ferry terminal we walked past a place which made me feel like I am in Rome, but when I turn to the opposite direction I feel like I am back in China.
Does this look like I am in Rome?

People, I am in China

Since there was quite a lot of time left, we decided to take group photos (:

Does this remind you of the Taiwan drama: Meteor Garden? ^^

It was around 7 when we took the ferry to our dinner venue

Reflection:
I realize that the traffic over here in Wuhan is rather different from Singapore. In Singapore we are able to take our own sweet time to crass the road, but in Wuhan you would have to walk really quickly across the road. Also in Singapore when we are crossing the zebra crossing, the drivers would stop and allow you to cross the road, but in Wuhan even though you are crossing the zebra crossing, you would have to make sure that you walk faster then they drive, or they would either horn at you or even stop really CLOSE to you.
